Ipaq 3970, Clip-on and TT 4.4, bluetooth connection failure

Can anyone please help? I have an Ipaq 3970, Fortuna clip-on, TT version 4.4. Bluetooth connects OK, but drops connection often during a journey. This can be within 2 minutes or half an hour. Sometimes, but not always, the clip-on asks for passcode entry before it will reconnect.

I have tried fixes found on other threads ie clip-on battery out, switch to XT etc. but without success.

No. Can you tell me what it is and where I can get it? (Sorry but this beginner still has the stabilisers on!)

try the hp website you should be able to get the patch there
