|
|
Hey all. Having just received my TomTom3 package I was anxious to get going. However, I now see that the all important power cable is not included- great . I didn't get the TomTom car kit as I had a good mount on it's way from eBay and assumed that such as essential wire would be included with the package.
Now, I need to get the kit up and running by Friday, so I think ordering from the 'net is not an option as I doubt it will arrive on time- true? Therefore, can anyone tell me a store in the Dorset/Southampton region that stocks TomTom, and where I can get either the single power wire or the car kit for the Pocket PC version?
Race againt time, please help !
Many thanks!

Hi,
Very quick answer - do you have any PC World/Currys/Dixon stores near you?
If you're lucky they may have the power cables. Ignore what the spotty assistants say - just make sure that you get the right cable for your PPC.
If you have an iPAQ, then the cable for the 38xx also fits the 39xx and the 55xx. I think that it also fits the 22xx but you'd have to check.

I'm using a Yakumo Delta PDA. Do I therefore need a Yakumo specific car kit/ cable? Or will an iPaq cable like this one http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=WCOH0136 work?
Thanks again. |

Hi PJ,
That's the cable that I was thinking of for the iPAQ, but TBH I don't know whether it'll fit your Yakumo Delta PDA. I suspect that it won't.
Can anybody else out there help PJ, especially if you've got a Yakumo Delta PDA?
