If you mean GARMIN BlueChart marine charts then no I haven't.
I believe the only supported nuvi is the 500 - which is designed for outdoor use and can be switched between Outdoor (i.e. Oregon-like), Marine and PND.
The problem with the mainstream nuvi's is that it can't cope with the marine icons which I believe are in-built into suitable units. BUT.....
I personally wouldn't put any normal nuvi anywhere near water - let alone salt water - it's just asking for problems. I've used my Colorado on a yacht - even under the spray hood it got very coated with salt debris (as did the rest of us!). It washed off OK - but the Colorado is built to take that sort of punishment. _________________ Phil |

But is it displaying all the correct icons (eg navigation buoys, wrecks etc)? I thought that all GARMIN mapping contains is an icon type identifier (code) and relies upon the GPS unit to display the correct icon. I may be mistaken though. Certainly if you use the tools for creating your own GARMIN maps this is how it works and the marine icon set is only available on certain devices. _________________ Phil |
