why in speech preferences read aloud street names and the next two are shaded?

street names and road numbers are ticked and i never hear the names or streets ..

is because i have a custom voice?

You need to select a computer voice to use this feature - either Kate or Simon should do the trick, the custom voices do not have the capability to read out street names they simply replay one of 59 IIRC pre recorded sounds - Mike

ah right , i was on the right track then Thumbs Up thanks mike . no joe pesci Crying or Very sad

just tryed they are not shaded..
