New Maps for TomTom ??????

Received another email fro TomTom today offering new maps, I registered with ttn6 so expected new maps, but no, still showing 6.75 maps on site, so whats the point of registering, Anyway i am now running 7.25 anyway on my PDA so when will they catch up.

At the bottom of the maps page on the tomtom site is the depressing answer:
"Map information

All maps are compatible exclusively with TomTom devices, or devices running TomTom applications.
Depending on the map you purchase, additional memory (e.g. an empty SD card) may be needed.
Please note that all maps for Navigator 6 are the latest versions available, released in April 2007. They are only compatible with Navigator 6. No further versions of these maps will be released by TomTom. "

The last line says it all!!!!

The point being is why do Tomtom keep sending sending me emails inviting to buy updated maps for TTN6 when none are available,i am registered with tomtom for v675????
