hi ive downloaded some voice files for my tomtom go 920t but dont know where to paste them? any help please thanks. |

Try the "voices" folder.

This is a strange one. On my ONE v4 the voice files will only work if I put them in the map folder. There is a voice folder with all the tt voices in, there is a sound folder with nothing in. But the only place they will work is the map folder.

Are you talking about voice ALERTS for the POIs?
I (and I hope the OP too) am talking about navigation voices.
For a navigation voice, you should have three files:
• dataxx.chk
• dataxx.vif
• dataxx.bmp
(where xx is a two-digit number)
All voices must have their own unique number for the set of three files.
Copy all three files into the voices folder on your TomTom. |
