The mount for my trusty TT500 decided to fail today, after 3 years, the suction cup has sheared off.

Its the ice cream cone shaped one which has worked no problem.

So I need a replacement, now if I recall correctly there were a couple of versions and I can't remember if the version I had was the best/latest.

Can someone remember the detail?

In the meantime I'll start browsing for somewhere that has them in stock.

I could be wrong, but I thought the squarish section one was supposed to be better then the round one.

That may well be the case as the majority of places that have the mounts in stock seem to have the square ones.
