southern california poi?

is there anywhere i can get additinal poi for southern california

my map will be on a sd so how would i add them?

You don't say wha SatNav you are using which makes it a bit hard to advise how to add them.
On a TomTom you just use Windows Explorer to add the POI files by copying them individually into that particular map's folder on the SD card.
On a Garmin, you use their own uploader program.

I'm afraid I don't know of a good source of POIs for California, but just putting "POIs California" into Google seemed to find a lot of hits.

what i was getting at is that ive already got alot of uk poi on there , and from what i see on here you can only have up to 256 catagorys in poi before it jams up

i wont be able to have them on sd card as the u.s map will be in there
