How To Create Your Own Voices

I just purchased a Garmin 205W and I hate the voices that came with it. How do I create my own? I've read some posts, but have been unable to find a guide on how to do it.

I downloaded the Voice Utility and split the .vpm files into over 130 .wav files. I have read something about a command list and that the 205 has a different command list.

When I play any of the separate .wav files, they are all silent.

Could someone please help me step-by-step on how to make my own voices including how to record the .wavs while listing the commands.

I'm clueless on this.
