What firmware and map versions do you have installed? Assuming you have v8 software and maps, have you enabled the ALG display (Hide/Show lane images) in change preferences?

Only around 10% of the motorway junctions are covered by reality view where you get the picture display showing the road and signs etc - If TomTom think my estimate figure is too low i.e 10% - I think this is a high estimate to be honest, then I would like to see some stats relating to the UK.

To see if this is working on your device plan a route from Blackpool to Preston, then use Route Demo to replay the route at 100% speed, when you near Kirkham on the M55 the display will change to reality view for a few seconds - all this "eye candy" really isn't worth the effort, once you get bored with it you will probably turn it off - Mike

Another silly question in response... What road signs are you expecting to see??

That's a good question, this is ALG:

It's important to realise that the image is STATIC and replaces the moving map. It pops up as you approach a junction that has ALG data, the arrows flash and the data at the bottom continues to update. As you pass the junction the moving map returns or you can tape the screen at any time to return to the map.

I have never had the static picture with the green arrows and the sign above.Just the small arrows bottom left, even though i do quite few motorway miles.Perhaps its as Mikealder says only 10% of junctions are covered.

Thanks

Try the above to see if this mode is correctly enabled on your device as I know that junction does display the full picture (I pass it often enough) - Mike

I've tried the demo route indicated above but I have only the arrows in the left corner even the ALG display was enable. I disabled and then enabled again the ALG, played the demo again.... and Oauuuu .... is working now! So, I suggest to do the same (just a small bug with the software). I'm running v8.3 and 8.10 for the map
