7.480, is there an upgrade

Hi can someone tell me if an upgraded map is available on home, is there a v8.010 out?? I'm using a 720 western Europe.

The 7,480 is the software version your device is using, in order to use the latest map you will need to use TomTom Home on the PC to update it firstly to 7,481 then repeat the upgrade to install 8,010 to the device. This update must be performed as a two stage operation as the 7,481 release contains certain important files.

With the Software version 8,010 installed you can now upgrade your map, the latest map for you maching is v810, there is also the map update scheme where by you pay a reduced fee for the map updates for the next twelve months, this option will be offererd to you via the Home inteface.

Depending upon which version of Home you have installed to the PC you might want to update that to the latest build available BEFORE starting any of the above.
