|
|
I've got my custom POIs loaded no problem but I'd like them in a hierarchical structure like the default POIs, is this possible?
e.g.
Rather than
Shell
BP
Have:
Fuel\Shell
Fuel\BP
So if looking for fuel and have options, I can look specifically for a brand but if desperate, can search all. |

Of course, you have just to set the subcatergory i.e. Shell in the Fuel category. |

First, you'll need the iGo POI Explorer beta - you can find it with Google. Then, you'll need to move all petrol stations POI's into one location, i.e. c:\temp.
Then, using the iGo POI Explorer - you can set the main folder as i.e. petrol, and subfolders for proper brands.
Then, you can import the POI's into proper subfolders in project.
At the end - save your project and place itinto: igo8\content\userdata\poi\ folder.
start iGo and using managing-POI menu set the visibilities for subfolder (if you'll set the visibility in the main group - all subgroups will hhave same value).
Hope this will help |

Thanks, will try that.
I've been importing KMLs so this bit is new to me. |
