Hello,

Does anyone know what the maximum speed that can be displayed on a TT is. Watching that crazy Jetman fly from Calais to Dover, and was just thinking.

Cheers

Carl

I don't think there's a limit. Possibly three digits? 999mph?

The TT has been used in commercial aircraft and speeds over 600mph have been reported on here.

It copes with cruising speed of a passenger jet no problem (599 miles an hour in THIS post)

Fusion man was only expecting speeds of around 125 mph!

It did say how fast he was going but it just got me thinking about the whole taking SatNav on commercial plane and watching what unfolded, so thank you for your responses. Is it illegal to take on a plane? Does it transmit anything?

I know that it has probably all been discussed before but in case it hasn't thought I would ask.

Cheers

Carl

If you'd used the search facility you'd have found it's been discussed many times before.

999,9 Knots or 1150 MPH is the limit unless you have the military spec kit, so assuming you are in a commercial jet even in a high speed emergency dive it won't reach that velocity - Mike

Carl, it is not in my gift to withhold the editing facility from you - some might say "fortunately". However, if I see you doing this sort of thing again, I'll start to wonder what can be done. Andy_P is a highly respected member here and the edit facility is NOT provided to facilitate your making a monkey out of him (or anyone else).

I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

Andy and I wrote comments at the same time, the fact that we crossed was none of my doing, if you look at one of your previous admonishments of me, time was one of the things that you quite rightly said had passed and I made an erroneous post for that I apologised.

For you to now suggest that I deleted what I had written after reading Andy's post all within the same minute and with me playing Tiger Woods 09 on the Wii is ridiculous.

Do whatever you feel.

You have no gift.

If you see me doing what sort of thing?

Maybe you need to get your facts straight before you send yet another miserable tirade.

Sadly, I therefore suggest you leave the "edit" button strictly alone for other more experienced users.

...ok

That is obviously what I meant.

I'll make sure, as you are the more experienced "user", to ask before I change my mind again.

Cheers

Carl
