|

Hi, have a TomTom go 520.
Have bought a memery card with the intention of loading some music on to use the juke box facility. I have loaded the music onto the card and it shows the little icon on screen to show that it is loading. The problem is that i cannot now find the music anywhere on the satnav. If i open up the jukebox the only music showing is what is loaded onto the internal memory, only 2 cd's and memory is full.
Do i have to open the card in someway to acess the music, i have searched through every menu and the instructions make no mention of the memory card, or is the memory card facility not capable of recognising music? Have also tried with pictures and still not recognising.
Hope someone can help as i wanted to use the jukebox facility today for my daughters 16th birthday party. Thanks. |

The music must be in .mp3 format and needs to be stored within a folder named mp3 on the memory card.
Is this how you have them currently? _________________ Darren Griffin |

I know this might sound strange, but have you actually added an SD card to the device? - As supplied the device contains a piece of blank plastic to prevent debri entering the device, this canot be used to store anything, it sounds like you have filled up the internal Flash memory storage - Mike |

Similarly, pictures have to be in a folder called "photos". These mimic the exactly same-named folders on the internal memory. |

Hope you don't embarrass the daughter TOO much by dancing at her party! |
