An apology if this has been asked before:
I have just updated the monthly PGS camera data base, (OV2 UK speed Zoned complete) for my Tom Tom, and I noticed that the pocket_uk_mobile/pmobile var.ov2/bmp files never seem to be updated just lately, or maybe I’ve just not noticed.
The dates next to mine go back quite a way, so I would say that in most cases these would be out of date. Can I delete these from the map folder if they are not part of the camera data base any longer? Confused

yes, delete them - there should not be a pmobile variable file.

Ah, thanks for swift reply. I take it that the pmobiles are not part of the data base any longer, (I’ve been away from the forums for quite a while!) and that the mobiles are just updated as and when necessary?
Apologies, I should have added the var cameras are not part of the data base.

A bit late to reply, but just to clarify....
There ARE still pMOBILES in the database download (as a separate file or files) but there are no pMOBILE "variable speed" cameras OR Mobile"variable speed" cameras for that matter.... so that category should not be there any longer.
Unfortunately, if you simply overwrite the old files every time, your old versions of these won't get deleted automatically, so you have to get rid of them manually just this once.

Ah, thanks for the confirmation Andy, I had done as you suggested shortly after MaFt replied, so they are all there except the var files. Having been away from the forum for a while, I wasn’t sure what the situation was.
