Can't Upload POI's

I've downloaded the kfc xls file but can't get my garmin 710 to read the file.
I've created a garmin/POI folder on my memory card and transfered it over but can't find it on the nav. Any ideas?

Hi and welcome.

First of all you need to get a program called POILoader from here

Install that to your PC. Make a folder on your PC called My POI and move the POI CSV and BMP files from your Nuvi to the My POI folder. Put all your POIs in that folder. Plug the Nuvi in and then run POILoader. Follow the instructions and tell it were you put the files on your PC. It'll find them and then load them to the Nuvi.
