I can't seem to get the hang of this. I can create a route using Google Earth, and by clicking the waypoints transfer them to Tyre and then produce an .itn file which works in TomTom.
Using Google Maps I can also create a route, and because of the drag function, editing the route is much easier than Google Earth. The Help file for Tyre says that this route can be transferred to Tyre by clicking anywhere on the route, but that doesn't seem to work for me. So having created and edited a route using Google Maps I don't seem to be able to do anything with it. What have I missed?

Yes, it is the very latest version of Tyre, and in the Help file it says it acts as one with Google Maps. Not in my case!
I'll take a look at the link you gave - thanks.

edited 3 hours later. Yes, the link does work. It's a bit clunky to use, as you have to drag the start and finish points a few metres before it will generate an itinerary. Also, you have to seed the Google maps route with a few waypoints, otherwise TomTom may not calculate the same route from the itinerary as was shown on the Google Maps display. It's is quite a useful tool, but I would love to get Tyre working as it is supposed to. _________________ TomTom One v3 Europe, Navcore 7.903, Western Europe 835.2420

Also, there's a simple alternative to Tyre for Google maps here:
THe Houghi script
Is there any way to get from the code generated by the Houghie script back to the Google map showing the itinerary, so that a new itinerary could be created based on the original?
I'm sure the answer will be that I should have saved the URL! _________________ Anita
