Are you looking for a dedicated unit (Garmin, Magellan, etc.) or a PDA? For PDA, I'd guess that a bluetooth GPS receiver would give you most flexibility. You could mount this on the rear parcel shelf. I have an sleeve type receiver with a remote antenna mounted on the rear parcel shelf of my car.
Do plenty of research or you'll end up thinking 'If only....' _________________ Tim |

Don't worrie about the heated windscreen on the mondeo. I just bought myself a TomTom / iPAQ 1940 set. Works great on my Mondeo model year 2003. Although I have the the windscreen heater, I get about 6-7 satellite fixes. Tomtom is a great tool. I got the TomTom 2 including a HP iPAQ 1940 and a comprehensive set of car kits for €450 (that includes the iPAQ). Upgrade to TomTom 3 is FREE. Works great for me and I can highly recommend it. |
