TomTom for USA

Has anybody got the maps for the NE USA? specifically the area bounded by Washington, Detriot, Buffalo.
I am over there in Oct and wondered if i could beg or buy a copy to use for the three weeks?

The TomTom licensing model doesn't work that way. Even if I would let you have the maps you would still need to register them against your DeviceID - which will fail.

Yes, it's a shame they don't offer "holiday maps" yet for the US, and yes, we told them several times... Sigh.

Not in itself, but remember there is always the risk that the previous owner has used up all the registrations. Which means you have to wait for half a year before you can actually use it.
