For the last couple of days I have been playing with the RDS RX driving into Gravesend one day and Coventry today from the South Coast.
1. Every traffic delay is shown as 1 min.
2. Most traffic delays are not even shown.
3. Those that are, are much longer than 1 min.
4. Road works suggesting 48 mins delay turn out to have no significant delay.
I'm sure you have heard all this before.
Is this a fault of the RDS system or is it all down to crap software from Tomtom?
Is it going to improve in my lifetime?
I have been running the tests on the 720 (detals below).

This is a known bug that affects the x20 range with Navcore 7 installed (any version) when used in the UK, the recently withdrawn version 8 software did cure this issue but sadly is not currently available - Mike

I was fortunate to download the update for my 720T before Tomtom removed it. I would advise to keep connecting your device to Tomtom home to check for the latest application update. From your signature you are running version 7.221? Tomtom home will first offer you the update to 7.481 so if you do not accept that then you will never see the update to version 8.010 (when it is released again). I hope this makes sense.
The other option is to search the web for
navcore_8.010.9369.gox20.cab then follow the instructions on page nine of the following topic.
