Hi, downloaded the speed camera zoned database yeaterday and when trying to unzip received the message saying file unable to open, tried the all-in-one file and got the same message. tried again today and got the same message again. Is it my computer or have others had the same problem? |

Can you extract the files from the download and see them listed as:
pocketgps_uk_sc.ov2
pocketgps_uk_sc.bmp
If so simply copy these to your map folder you don't have to open them on the PC as this requires additional softwear that is not required to put the files on the device and use them for Speed Camera warnings? - Mike |

How are you trying to extract the files?
I get this message if I double-click the zip file to open it so that the files inside look like they are being shown in a folder then attempting to copy/paste them to the map folder.
You have to extract the files first (right click the zip file and choose "Extract all..."). Once you have the files in a folder on your PC, you can copy them across.
When you get it working, just use either the single file or the speed zoned database - otherwise you'll get two warnings for each camera. _________________ Gerry

Hi Mike, Gerry
thanks for the replies.
I have moved to a different computer and files have downloaded fine - must be my machine. I'll have to investigate.
Thanks again |
