Garmin Streetpilot i3 doesn't boot

Hello, I've just signed up to this site. As I have an i3 I downloaded 22 (only) categories of POIs -mainly the shopping supermarkets etc ones - taking your warning about not downloading more than 85. However I now find my i3 wont boot up and isn't recognised by my PC. I didn't back up the micro SD card as I was only downloading 22 POIs, can you give me advice as to how to get my unit working again?

You could try removing the card and poppintg it into a card reader and the deleting the POI.GPI file.

What does the i3 actually do now? Error messages etc??

Thanks for the advice. I got myself a card reader and have been able to get it working again.

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
Have you considered making a donation towards website running costs?.
Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
