Does anyone know how to enter/search for Italian addresses in my TomTom One (UK) with Western Europe maps loaded. For eg. how do I go about entering this address: via Monte Rosa 2, 30030 Cazzago di Pianiga
I can't seem to search on postcode as TomTom seems to have only UK postcodes. |

The only postcodes recognised by TomTom are UK and NL.
Will this do for you (there doesn't seem to be a number 2, so I settled for number1).
I did it with my GO920, which is different from the ONE, but hopefully the following will get you to it. I did it using Browse Map, Find, but presume that Navigate to will do it just as well (I didn't fancy sitting here whilst it actually calculated a route all that way!)
So....
Browse Map
Find
(or Navigate To)
Address
Street and House Number
I then had to select the country - it showed a Union Jack which I tapped to get a choice of countries, to select Italy)
City = Cazzago - there are a lot of these, once you've got one showing, tap the down arrow at top right and you can then scroll down until you reach and select ....
Cazzago (Pianaga)
Street = Monte Rosa
Number = 2 (but it said No Match, so I had to choose number 1 - hopefully you'll be able to find your way from 1 to 2 - or ask someone )
Or you could cheat and use the coordinates you can see on my screen shot.
Is it worth a visit? Is it near anywhere? (My MS Autoroute Express doesn't recognise a single Cazzago) We'll be doing a Grande Europeane Toure next year and we're always open to ideas of nice looking countryside. Never mind! I looked up the coordinates on Autoroute and it's half way between Venice and Padua. We stayed in the Hotel Villa Stucky in Mogliano Veneto, north of Venice a couple of years ago. _________________ Dennis

Cazzago (Pianaga) | Try typing in the 30030 and it will take you to the streets in that area.
You then choose the street by using either Via Monte Rosa, or Monte Rosa. _________________ Richard

Thanks a lot guys. Richard, didn't realise that I could enter numbers as well! That seems to work great! |
