You don't need a phone line, I'm one of thousands here who can help, if i don't reply back someone else will, but i will start.

Although my names not Mike, I will try and help.
Lets start from the beginning.

1) I presume you are using the proper Garmin POI Loader downloaded from their site.

2) You have downloaded the file of PGPSW database (relevant camera file specific to your Garmin)

3) You have un-zipped the PGPSW database file and stored it in a file where you can find it.

4) The database file is copied into your POI file, or are these the only POI's you are using.

5) The POI downloader is finding the correct POI file, because you know where it is and you have pointed it in the right direction.

Try and give an accurate list of what you are doing in the same sequence that you are doing it.

You had lots of replies explaining where you were possibly going wrong in the first thread you started on this issue here. I'm not sure why you couldn't have answered there were people had already taken the time to answer you?

Anyway, perhaps if you gave us some more information we could help, mind reading we ain't so good at. So firstly, lets keep it simple, which Garmin do you have?

martin

Can i please ask that instead of posting titles like "bloody thing" and "help help help" you use useful titles such as "POILoader Problem" and try and employ some grammar in your postings. You already had a thread open here which you could have continued in. Please stick to one thread per problem and try and get your problem across clearly.

GJF has posted some useful info which should help. I suggest reading it and slowly following the instructions GJF has provided. If necessary, stop and start again. We can talk you through each stage if necessary but you're not giving us much to go on. There are a great number of things that might have gone wrong before the end and we need to make sure you are doing them all correct.

Have you tried slowly following the instructions here??
