Tomtom latest maps.

I have just updated my maps to the latest version 7 on my Tomtom Go classic, but I cannot now load any of my POIs into it. Please can anyone tell me why this is so.

Is there an Error Message, and if so, what is it?

Have you run out of Free Space on the SD Card? How much is available, according to Explorer?

What I mean when I say I cannot load any POIs on, I mean that it does not show them in the POI lists and they are not shown in the folder of the maps. I have a 2gb SD card so have plenty of space left.

Still not sure what you mean. Have you tried moving POI files (.ov2 & .bmp) to your current map folder using Windows Explorer? What happens when you try this?

If you have just updated your map, have you taken account of the fact that the map folder may have changed?

As you now have a new Map, the POIs will still be in the old Map Folder. They will need to be copied to the new Map Folder for you to be able to see/use them.

Did you have to delete the old Map before the new would install?

i just uploaded the new maps, but have had no problems as mentioned.
