Upgraded to 7.162

Hi, this is my first post on the forum.

I have a TT One XL which I’ve just upgraded the software via TT Home 2.3 and its now running 7.162 with v675.1409 UK and Ireland maps, I’ve had the unit around a year now.

On the old software version the status bar used to show the maximum speed next to the actual speed, but despite having the boxes ticked in the preferences menu, I notice the maximum speed/speed limit is no longer showing in the status bar!

Any ideas how I can fix the problem other than reinstalling my old software?

Are you sure it's missing?
The speed limit is only shown in places where it has been coded into the map data, and there are many, many places where this hasn't been done, so you won't get the detail.
Also, have you checked it is actually still switched on? (in Change preferences/Status Bar prefs./Speed).

v715 is the latest map release your device can use, it will contain more speed limit related information but it is still inaccurate in large areas.
The version 8 software (when released for the earlier devices) should have a facility to alter the speed limit via MapShare - assuming the same functionality as the x30 version 8 software is ported to the other devices - Mike

The speed limit issue is resolved. I must have been testing it in an area where the info was not programmed into the map.

I've now downloaded and installed the 7.15 maps for Western Europe and everything seems just fine still!

Roll-on June when I'll be visiting Le Mans 24 Hrs.
