Alk UK tell me this is stil lin development and they can't quote a release date yet. Originally they said around Christmas last year!

Do I understand correctly that text-to-speech (which I HAD in CoPilot 6), is now GONE in CoPilot 7?

Having used CP 6 for motorcycle trips where I depended on this feature, I'm more than a little disappointed that it vanished to provide cooler graphics.

Hopefully there will be a "patch" of some sort for this in the future without paying for another upgrade. Or am I misunderstanding the issue?

You understand correctly, there is NO TTS in CP7 currently but ALK have advised that this is 'coming' via an update.

Hope it's not too much longer..... I am wonderign if thats what they'll deliver in Co Pilot 8! Originally they were expecting TTS to be ready in December last year!
