|
|
Hi I have acquired a Colorado 300 unit. The base maps work fine but when I insert City Nav Europe Street maps SD card, although the unit detects the map card, it does not in any way read the card. Thus if I select this map the screen remains blank (no map) and all post code searches are not found. I have trawled the internet for a similar problem but with no luck. The card seems to be fine with the usual files present when I plug the unit into my computer.
Any ideas? |

Hi. Yes. I have tried both maps ticked and only the DEM map tiicked. Both produce identical results i.e. no street level details. If only the streetmap is ticked then there is no map visible at all. |

The map is City Nav Europe NT on a micro sd card (and adaptor) as supplied by Garmin (i.e. no DVD just a supplied SD card). There are no unlocking instructions with it. |

Are the Maps NT or Non NT?
Was the card new from a dealer?
What version?
When you connect to the PC how many screens open?
What size is the SD card when in 'drive mode'?
Have tried different zoom levels[the basemap should appear as you zoom out] |

The card was purchased from a reputable dealer and had proper packaging.
The maps are NT (what does that mean?)
They should be the very latest version.
211 mb on disk.
Yes I have tried different zoom levels and address searches. Its as though there is nothing on the files. |

I do not use NT Maps but UK is 195MB on the Non-NT so you have not Europe in that small size!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The new maps are v10 [2008] what was yours?
Were they in a 'blister' pack?
Europe is 2214MB. |
