Simple question -

What type of connection does the 920 use for an external antenna? Some references say MCX but pics online look different to this.

Thanks

I have a GO720 and the connector looks like it will fit the "MCX" style antenna connector.

I've used my MCX antenna on a GO910 device without any problems.

My old Navman iCN510 needed a converter lead to make the MCX connector down in size to the Mini MCX "MMCX" and this is a lot smaller.

If you get the wrong connector there are places that will sell you adapters on the Internet.

MCX will fit quite nicely, all the TomTom units use this connection for the external GPS aerial with the exception of the One Third Edition which has no such connector available at all.
I would try the 920 in the vehicle though as the GPS receiver is very good at pulling in a signal without requiring the use of an external aerial - Mike
