I have a TT720 on order from Amazon to replace my Navigator setup . I know that when it comes the first thing I must do is to back it up using Windows Explorer. I will then put the PWGPS database on it. Can I then turn off the TT camera database or is it best to delete it. If so, are the files obvious or can someone tell me which to delete please
Also what is the biggest SD card that it can take and what is the best type to buy please _________________ TT Go Essential |

Have a read through some of the FAQ's #1 for backup and #13 for camera removal, the FAQ page can be found by clicking Here
As for SD Card size you can use SDHC cards in the unit, the 4GB works fine, I use an 8GB in my 720 which works fine in use, but to install files (music) to it you have to use a card reader, the 720 won't work correctly as a card reader above 4GB - Mike

You can turn off the alerts in the PLUS Services menu or you can easily uninstall them using TomTom HOME. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks both of you. I didn't expect it to be as easy as that _________________ TT Go Essential |
