Map upgrades

I don't know if this has been answered before but I bought a new W&CE map in November 07 when the Ver.7 software was available for the Go910. On the TomTom website now, the new maps are avalable and it states that free upgrades are available for 12 months! Does this apply to my map too or do TomTom mean Mapshare updates?

Sorry, the 12 months for the mapshare updates. The "latest map guarantee" is for 30 days after you first use the device to ensure you don't get one of the shelf with an already out of date map.
