If the old ones did, then so will the standard sized (22x22) new ones.
Use whatever method you used to load the original icons when you install the database, just replace the old ones with the new set, all the names are the same.
As to whether it can use the slightly larger ones (24x24), try it and see, then tell us!
As far as I know the double sized icons are only used by the TomTom machines. |

Many thanks for your reply Andy but I have tried this using POI loader which is what I use to update the cameras and it says that the upload needs files of a certain type ending in csv (and something else!!). The new files are not such files it seems and hence they are not recognised and wont load.
Am I doing something wrong? |

The icons are just that, icons. They don't contain any data about the location of cameras. You need to subscribe to this website in order to download the database which will be in CSV format. Then you can replace the icons that come with the database with the new ones. Then you upload the database with the new icons to the unit.
All the new icons download gives you is just a new clearer set of icons.
edit: additional info

Hi PAul
I am a subscriber to the camera database which I use regularly.
I just wanted the new icons to use as they are clearer. I have extrcted the file with the icons to the folder I use for the cameras but the POI loAder doesnt recognise them so I presume I am doing something wrong....
I just thought if the solution eas a simple one I could get them but may be it is too difficult as I am not sure what I am doing wrong |

If you try to upload the 44 x 44 icons it does work. However my 760 only shows the corner of the icons.
irvine - Can you tell us in detail what you are doing, which file you downloaded and what the exact error is? |

I downloaded the 24x24 icons into the folder where the POI loader reads the cameras from. All went well until I tried to add the POI's when the error message came up "there are no data files in that directory. Please specify a directory that contains at least one file with a .csv or .gpx extension.
I cannot find an extension such as the ones requested.... |

Are you trying to upload JUST the icons?
You need to upload EVERYTHING as you would normally do, just have these new icons in the folder with the data files instead of the original ones. |

The speed camera files will be in this format. As Andy says above you must upload the database again (the CSV files) with the new icons. You can't just add the icons to the unit.
Start again by downloading your database. Extract the contents to the POILoader uses to upload the database and then extract the new icons overwriting the old icons. The upload the lot to your unit. |
