TOMTOM XL, PROBLEM WITH CAMERA OGGS

i have a tt xl which did show and do the camera warning sounds with the oggs. now i updated the maps to 7.15 and now they dont work. also i dont have the cows and whistle etc on the screen although the data chk files are there. i have put all the new camera files and the ogg files into the map directory so they are all there. when i select a camera and sound i have it set to 300 yrds then press ok but all it does is nothing! no next screen to give me a choice of sounds, it wont let me go any further. the cameras show on route or when i view the maps but when i do a demo of a route it shows the camera icon on the road but not at the top of the screen in the left hand corner. i have also put the ogg files in to the voice folderaswell and they did show up on the XL screen but the names for the camera sounds was too long and i didnt know which was which as it would only show the start of the name of the camera sound.
I do have a TT910 which i know my way around and have done this sort of thing for years and not had any problems with it so i think i should know what im doing or do i?

Derrick, sounds like you may have hit the bug and went on without realising it.

First, give the XL a reset (press the reset button underneath) then go back to setting up the warnings. If the ogg files are found, after setting up the distance, it will just ask "Is this sound correct?" without going to the sound choices or playing any sound. You MUST hit Yes. Hitting no brings up a screen saying "No photos" and locks the XL.

I think this may solve your problem.

many thanks for the quick reply GerryC. i was aware of the bug as i dealt with it with my 910. it doesnt give me the "no photos" when i say no to it though, i do press "yes" but after quite a few times after doing resets and starting over and over again it now seems to find the ogg files and work as it should do! maybe i have found a new bug?
