Different problem to most I've read on here though. My screen flashes. Usually when no signal but occasionally on the road. It's usually accompanied by a quiet "popping" from the speaker, 3 times in succession. Otherwise working fine, anyone else seen anything similar?
Cheers,
Ian. |

Not seen that here.
The popping sounds similar to the single pop you tend to get during a re-boot (just at the point where you've started thinking "this seems to be taking longer than usual, what's gone wrong" )
To be honest, it sounds like a faulty unit. |

Cheers Andy, I've raised an RMA for a return, only had it a couple of weeks. Another way of describing it would be to imagine the battery was loose and the unit looses power for 3 fractions of a second in quick succession.... Hope I'm not gonna be another "I'm on my 5th 720 now" story.... |

If it's only a couple of weeks old, can't you take it back to the shop you bought it from? |

It was Dixons, so online only unfortunately. Am still waiting for the returns labels to turn up though, 7-10 days apparently! They must be walking.... |
