TomTom GO Maps on A TomTom One New Edition?

Hi. I hope someone on here can help me!

I've come across a few threads about the different sizes of maps for different versions of TomTom but I couldn't find the answer I was looking for.

I'm looking to purchase map v7.10 GB & ROI from TomTom. What I wanted to know was, if I purchase the larger map for the TT Go 920, for example, will this map work on my TT ONE or do I need to purchase the correct & smaller map?

I did see a post that said that it'd work but I don't want to risk 30 quid if there's a chance that it won't!
