TTN6 Map Options

I've just purchased an HTC P3300 which includes TTN6 software, but just one free local map. I would like to get full USA maps. Am I limited to buying these from Tom Tom, or are there other map sources? What's my best (least expensive) option? Earlier version maps are OK.

Shop around for the maps on disk, you might find a cheap deal somewhere, one US stockist can be found Here don't forget you will also need a micro SD crad to put the maps on, depending upon the ROM you have loaded to the P3300 (WM5 or WM6) and a small tweak you can run the larger 4GB cards on the phone - Mike

Thanks. What's the tweak that allows me to use a 4GB card? I'm using WM6.

You can find the CAB file for SDHC Here - I know at least two others that are using this on their MDA Compact - III devices (same as the Artemis but devoid of WiFi) - strange thing though my Artemis used the SDHC card without the CAB, so if you get one try it first it might just work - mine did - Mike
