My first GPS

Its my first time on this site and I have some Questions.
I am about to take the plunge & buy a GPS.
My first choice is a Navman 4410 with 3D & Ipaq 2210, for European cover. But after reading your views I’m having doubts. Or is a Tom Tom Nav 2 BT & Ipaq 2210 with the extra Europe maps. Is the TT a better option taking into account that the TT will cost a lot more? I know that both have pro's & con's.
Has anyone had any problems with the above, regarding car windscreens & signal reception?
any advice anyone?

Welcome to the site.

You should take three things into account

- PDA
- Navigation program
- GPS receiver

These are normally independent of each other. You may see some bundles but that doesn't mean you have to go with these. You can also buy the components independently.

For each of the above you will have to think about your priorities. The looks, the brand, the features.

Tell us your preferences and we will be able to give you some advice, beyond "4410 or TomTom Navigator" (even though these two would work together...)
