cant get saftey cameras to work

got myself a tom tom 520t its meant to have saftey cameras but when i do what i am meant to it tells me to go to tom tom home to get them but when i go to tom tom to update it tells me i have no updates. and if i look in my tom tom on the home page it says i have 12 safty camera things there can any one please help asapas i need it for work in the morning cheers

When you buy a new Go520 it has a (fairly old) TT-supplied safety camera database installed as a trial. You switch the view and alerts on or off in the "Plus Services" menu (page 3 of the main menu).

If you want to UPDATE the old database with a newer one, you DO do that using Home, but it is a subscription service and costs around £20 a year.

The alternative is to get a subscription for the much more comprehensive database from this site. More cameras, more types, updated more often, more flexible warnings and slightly cheaper.

Are they also switched on on your tomtom?

Tap map, right arrow, tomtom Plus Services, tomtom Safety Cameras and check they are enabled.

THERE IS NOTHING SAYING ENABLE ALL ITS SAYS IS GO TO TOM TOM HOME BUT WHEN I AM THERE IT SAYS NO UPDATES LATEST VERSION AND ALL THAT STUFF

When you tap TomTom safety cameras are any of the icons grayed out or can you select them ok.

no nothing there its just says go to tom tom home . i click on tt plus services then tom tom saftey cameras and it says tt saftey cameras warn you about saftey cameras on ur route you can join this service and download safty camera locations to yuor device using tom tom home but it wont let me uits says no updates evey were i try

You do not have the safty cameras installed on your device bukko25. I removed mine and then switched my TT on and pressed safety cameras and it tells me to go to TT home also.

If you go to TT home and click (Show items on my Go) you should see application then maps then safty cameras. If you dont you have to install them. If you go to copy from my computer icon hopefully you will have them there if you dont you will have to subscribe to TT for them but you are better off with PGPS Speed cams.

they r there were u just said but nothing happens it says they are installed but thats as far asd i can go

I would install them again just incase you have maybe deleted something by mistake. click on (Add maps,Traffic< Voices etc.) then click the MORE Icon then items on my computer. You will see the safty cams there, check the Sefty cams UK one then at the bottom of the screen add these items to your go and then safly dissconnect your device and then try it again.
