TT6 reinstalling on SD card insert

I apologise if this has already been discussed, but I was unable to find a solution searching through the forums.

I have an Asus A696 with TT6 on SD card. The problem is, whenever I re-insert the memory card, Tomtom wants to reinstall itself. I tried deleting the autorun file, but to no avail.

I have the feeling that it's a really simple solution, but I'm new to this :-/

Normally deleting or renaming autorun.exe in the 2577/ folder on the memory card is sufficient to prevent this. Is it that file that you deleted?

No, I deleted the autorun.inf which was on the root of the card. This was for the installation of TT home when inserted into a PC, but I didn't know what else to try.

Renaming the autorun.exe in the 2577 folder worked. Thank you very much!
