X-970T Keyboard Characters

Hi, I have had my device a for few days (very pleased with it ) and now I am trying to set up GPRS but I have a slight problem with manually inputting the APN. There does not appear to be a dash "-" character available on the keyboard so I cannot enter the "tesco-mobile" address. Is there any way round this?

I think the easy way of answering this would be that I doubt Tesco Mobile will have their own network and will piggy back on someones elses service so the settings for whoever they run their operation through would be in the device already. Can i suggest you call them and ask?

Thanks for the reply. Although Tesco use o2 services their configuration for GPRS is independent. The settings are in the mobile and confirmed by Tesco as being:

Homepage: http://wap.tesco-mobile.com/
APN address (contract): prepay.tesco-mobile.com
Gateway (IP) address : 193.113.200.195
Username : tescowap
Password: password
Session type: Continuous / permanent
Port number: 9201
Authentication: Normal

So hopefully you see my problem?

I have installed the upgrade but alas this does not fix the problem. I wonder if it is possible to request viaMichelin to consider including Tesco GPRS settings or adding the dash character in a future release?

This is the only problem I have experienced and it does not detract from this superb device which performs perfectly and IMHO is head and shoulders above the competition on a price/performance basis.
