hi
I have an in car charger for my phone which is USB sockets. Obviously i cant have car charger and SAtnav Nuvi 250 plugged in at same time but there is an additional USB port on car phone charger. I have connected the sat nav to this but it reacts as though its connected to a PC and i cannot use the satnav. Is it possible to use USB as power supply to satnav?
Thanks

hi
There is no option to plug into the cradle. the power supply goes direct in to the unit itself. |

ah, ok, the original (older) nuvi's used a usb lead plugged into the mount - i had (wrongly) assumed that was still the case!
the best bet then would be to get a 12v car power splitter thingy from halford or maplin or ebay or dozens of other places for a few quid!
