Hi, Does anyone have any idea why I cant add downloaded POIS to my new XL? I've put them in the map directory, but they dont show up in the POI menu?

Are you seeing ANY of them? There is a 100 user-POI limit, including the TT camera database ones if present. The ONLY way to check is to look at the contents of your map folder using Windows Explorer and count the number of ov2 files there (do not use Home to count them).

While you are there, check what the files look like, every POI category should have an .ov2 file and a .bmp file. Ones supplied by TomTom will also have a .ver file., and in all cases the name BEFORE the three letter extension should match exactly.If you can't see any at all, then that's your problem. If they came as a single "Zip" archive, did you "extract all" of the files before you put them in the map folder?
