POI's For HD Dealers

Hi, im pretty new to this so any help would be great, i want to create poi's for Harley Davidson Dealers in the UK.
A friend said its easy to do i just need a text file with the details of the address??? is this correct? if so how do i make said text file and then how do i create the rest of it?
Any help would be appreciated.
