Nuvi 700 charging time ect

I just got a Nuvi 760 after returning a TomTom because of a red x that prevented me from even getting a start up screen The TomTom had a lot of instructions unless I'm missing something the online manual doesn't list charge time, after it's charged do I just connect i to my computer and follow on screen instructions?

Where did you get the 760 I can't find them on sale, only in america.
