Newbie With Warnings Problem

Hi All,

I have an XL Regional. I accidently did something to it and now its keeps going Bong Bong Bong at me while driving, a lot, but I can figure out why. I must have turned some alarm warning thing on I guess??

Any help appreciated. (p.s. Its not camera alerts, I lost that when I upgraded the software!!!)

Well Stuballz,

It looks like you have an active speed alarm.

Tap main screen, tap "change preferences", then safety preferences. Check the list to see if the bottom 3 boxes are checked. (ignore the bottom box). when you select "done" it will ask you what speed to set the warnings at. I usually opt for a set speed as 30 mph and allowed at 71mph. That way if your in town then you get a beep(or whatever) when you stray over 30mph. Again on the motorway after 71.

If this is not set and the Bongs appear as "random" then check the "warn near POI's" in the manage POI's setup.
