Be aware that if you have Windows Vista installed Navman informed me that 90% of the time you will not be able to syncronise with ST desktop for installing POIs cameras etc, as they have not yet sorted the conflict out and may in the future get around to doing something, thank goodness TomTom are on the ball and sorted there software earlier. My icn 750 will probably be the last Navman I purchase and will upgrade to another TomTom |

Be warned!!! I contacted Navman yesterday about my inability to connect my ICN 530 to the web. I complained and got this reply this morning:
"We do understand your concern, but please note that the iCN 530 was produced and developed in 2005, way before Windows Vista was out. It is not likely to find any 2005 product from any company which is specifically compatible with Windows Vista."
Complete rubbish!! Navman do not seem to give a damn. Microsoft ensured the Vista code was out in the marketplace ages before Vista was launched, but Navman do not seem to care about updating their software! Be warned-Your Navman may not be compatible with Vista!! |

I have Navman 750 linked to a Vista upgraded PC OK, Vista auto dowloads a new device driver which replaces activesync and then it works fine.
POIs can be downloaded OK |
