Girlfriend not happy with me!

Hi all,

My girlfriend has very kindly bought me a 720 for my birthday, its not my birthday yet but she told me as she wanted to confirm its the right one.

As you can imagine I was very happy . . . until I started reading this forum!! :-(

I wanted one for the handsfree calling, FM transmitter, voice recognition, all the stuff my Go 300 does not have.

Problem is reading here all that stuff sounds like its pretty crap!

I have told the missus this might have to go back and lets say im not popular!

What im asking is this, are all the features I want it for not working??

I have, what I thought a very popular phone a Sony K810 - my mood got worse 10 mins ago when it appears the K800 is only supported for the most basic features, how can this be!!!!!!!!!!!!! Twisted Evil

I want it to read my texts and do the phone book stuff, will it do it?? anyone use this lump with a K800/810??

ooh im gutted was really looking forward to this thing but it looks a complete white elephant :-(

Please someone offer me a glimmer of hope, or shall i just get her to take it back!?

ALL the features work fine with my K800.

I have the K810i and i can confirm everything works. I havent tried the Wireless data transfer yet though.

It reads out my texts, i can make and receive calls. Its brilliant.

THe 720 is a crakcing piece of kit, and you got to remember people only post problems on forums, never do you see a post title "My 720 is faultless and here is a list of things that work every time".

Be excited about getting one, its great.

my mood has improved!!

how is the voice recognition and the music over the radio??? some people say that crap!

I tried it yesterday in front of the TV and it didnt work very well (though it did after a couple of tries)
But why should it work ??? It relys on sound, and the radio is sound, so it probably wont work aswell. Thats one tghing i will let them off with. It works perfectly when no noise.
