Can you play FM through TT720 via an MP3 player with radio i

I am delving into the World of linking an MP3 player to my 720, but i have a few questions. basically i want to listen to the radio and have the instructions interupt it:

1. Can i use any MP3 player not just an ipod with th 720

if YES then go to question 2, if NO, go to question 3.:

2. Will i be able to listen to the radio on the MP3 player if the player can play the radio through my car speakers using the built-in FM transmitter of the 720, and then have the instructions interupt my radio station of choice.

3. is there an ipod that plays FM ??
