can I put 700/710 software on my GO/300

Hi all,
I have a friend with a "GO" which I sold him..
He wants the benefit of 7 digit post code search.
Is there a reason why I cant put a larger SD card in with the later software from the Go 700 or even 710 ?
The Go I sold him has the standard 128mb SD card... As I am sure you all know, they are now available in far larger capacities.

If this is definately not possible then does anyone know of a "Fix" or Hack that would enable this feature.

Any help from you Gurus out there would be gratefully appreciated.

Strictly speaking the 7 digit Postcode facility comes with V6xx Maps. As your friend still has a 128MB Card, I'm presuming he has the original V4 Maps.

It can be updated to V6.xxx with no problem, but to keep it legal it should have the latest V6 Maps. This will include the Postcode Files.

The Software itself does not include the Postcode Data, even though there is an Icon for Postcode.
