Hi all, This is my first post!! I have tried searching for the answer in the forums but have not found anything, so my apologies if this has been covered.
I want to know if it is possible for TTN6 to display the Lat/Lon co-ordinates on screen whilst navigating on route. I can see them if I browse the map, but i want to use it for Geocaching and need to know when i am exactly on the co-ordinates.
I am using TTN6 (obviously!) on my O2 XDA Orbit.
Hope someone can help! |

I'm afraid you're out of luck. As you have found out they only appear on Browse Map.
Don't forget, TT is basically for Road Navigation and wasn't intended for geo-caching.
What might work, and I've never tried this, is if you put the Lat/Long you want into Browse Map | Find. Input the location and it will be shown on the screen. Mark it as a Favourite/POI.
Then if you use Find | GPS position it will show your position relative to the saved Favourite/POI. But don't forget that it's not that accurate.
Sorry. Best I can do. _________________ Richard

I would look at adding something Memory Map for topo style maps on the PDA as this can offer current lat/ long and offer distance to go with a follow me arrow to the target - great for geocaching while the TomTom application is really for true on road usage only - Mike |

You could get the Lat Long displayed by viewing the GPS Status - I believe you still get voice prompts working in this mode - but obviously no map showing. (not got my TTN6 with me at present to try it). _________________ Phil |
